if you are in South Africa: Think more than twice before getting @Nedbank loans

Nedbank personal loans has been bugging me for payment of arrears in my account - an account that I have prepaid by +R2000.00. Apparently I have arrears of +R1500.00 that I must pay them but each time I get a call and ask them to go into the account and check if its up-to-date or if I missed installments - the answer would be that the account is not in arrears its just an error on their side! On 13 August I was told yet again that the account is in arrears but when I enquired further, it turned out that the account was in good standing and I was promised that this would be rectified. Today, 14 August, when I called in to get the status update - I was greeted with "your account is in arrears and you need to make arrangements to settle...". After enquiring again and getting the supervisor involved, I was told that the account is up-to-date! this worries me because it has the potential to ruin my credit ratings and record - all this because of incompetent people and service offering. I have been promised yet again by Ntokozo and her supervisor (Ravelle) that this matter will be attended to - but I must put it out there, I AM NOT HOLDING MY BREATH!

@Nedbank I made contact again today (15 August) only to be victimised, intimidated and given an ultimatum by Genevieve (the collections supervisor) for asking all the right questions about my account and to top it all, she decided (22 minutes into the conversation, at my expense) to put me on hold so I can cool off? And apparently, according to Genevieve, Clayton, Celeste and all the other consultants who contacted me before) do not understand the system and interpreted it incorrectly because my account is indeed up-to-date! This after I was told by Clayton around 11h45 today that the account is in still in arrears!
