Size matters...

Dear size queen
Remember when you insinuated that I catfished you
I remember it inversely though
When you learned of my surname
You instantaneously assumed I was a brother from the “north”
You got eager at the prospects of my endowment
Yet I was just an “conventional” man from ekasi

Dear size queen
Remember our first kiss
Your hands were feeling me up
Little did I know at the time that you were sizing me up?
How could I have missed that though?
How did I not know that for you size is everything?
Because it all makes sense now

Dear size queen
Remember when you started cheating on me
What got you started vele
What led you to start amusing another?
What went through your mind when you lay with them?
What is it about size that let you compromise your virtues?
If there was substance in it then why did you keep leaping from one to the other?

Dear size queen
Whilst you were out filling yourself up
You lost a heart that was your home
You also missed one significant fact
These no strings attached setups are conditional
One of its provisions is that you must never catch feelings
They don’t want to be with you, they just want what you can offer them

Dear size queen
I was never the right size for you
But I loved you
Even when you were out there beholding perfect bodies
As much as size mattered to you
You disregarded that happiness matters to me
Life is too short to be selfish – I’m letting you go – I’m letting you find the right size…
